The Dark Pond...

This is the life of a girl who thinks that nothing in this world she can gain
So from that and other she's numb to the feeling of pain

Her pillow damp at night from the oh-so silent tears
She develops a silent infatuation with blades of steel

But don't worry with a little alcohol and a bandage the cuts shall heal
She doesn't care because she has no nerves what she's doing she can't feel

She's tired of living, so she sits here crying
While gradually she actually likes the feeling of herself dying

With everyone of her tears that crashes to the floor
Her black box of a soul is breaking just a little bit more

The intensity in her eyes tell a story never heard
An intensity so surreal that the secrets are untold

An intensity identified as so-called "fairy tales", lies and deceit
She's set on a un-natural high when she wakes to find bloody soaked sheets

She flips her sheets over and finds 2 bloody blades, alcohol and tons of bandages
Her mother walks in See's the bed, looks at her arms, sees the dozens of cuts... horrified she screams and asks what could she do to get help her with this

She See's her mom and says: "OH NOW U CARE ABOUT ME??" But to her surprise she believes her mother cares..she buying it!!!
But she hates this household this is not where she wants to be not even a Lil bit

Suddenly she feels tears run down her cheeks
She's surprised because she hasn't felt this in weeks

A pool of pain as salty and familiar as the tears running down the
sides of her face
She doesn't like for people to her see emotions so right now she's
in an uncomfortable place

She runs out the house....it's the middle of the night so she can't see
But she doesn't care because she loves the dark, Pitch black its her comfort zone the place she wants to be

She stumbled over a rock and sees something ahead what can that be she says can my eyes be seeing right?
Its a dark pond...Dark the way she likes it...so dark it overshadows and mirrors her moonlight

Something in her tells her to go inside the pond, this something says that it's alright
What can go wrong ....remember u love the night!??!

This something keeps her lips from speaking and forms a sarcastic smile
A smile so attractive in her eyes a smile so guilty, disgusting and vile

She slowly makes her way into the pond until she gets neck high,
Pulls a blade out her pocket....nd slits her wrist for the very last time

She promises and assures herself that this was for the best
Tells herself she wont be missed to the world...That shes taking a
permanent rest........
