The steed of glory and death

by michael   Jul 8, 2007

Raindrops cascade from heaven as tears

showing me in confidence that its all near

As a godess floats down on her noble steed

and brings me a kiss on the wings of an eager plead

the hounds come crashing from the darkness itslef

and try and kill my happiness

But i dont falter i run on

into the light from where i had begun

My savior throws down a helping hand

and pulls me up into the holy land

I lost my body

but my soul rejoiced

and went to heaven where i so longed

But here comes the ares the god of war

bringing the hate of a thousand fates

He comes to me and asks with speed

If i had the guts to Bow down and plead

He tells me through a whispered ghasp

if wanted hed take me back

to where i lived and revived me

free of sin

Cause thats the reason i left in haste

away from the hounds in a dream of Distase
