My Epiphany

by Pwneress   Jul 8, 2007

I lie awake and think of you
What could've been never will be
What I thought was real dissolved into a dream
The epiphany of sympathy but to one is love
Not one living soul is here to hear your screams
Abandoned in an isolated world full of ghostly apparitions
Grieving the death of your credibility
Bleeding through ever single pore
Feeling the wrath of my love turned to anger
Aspired to be someone
Bashed down to being a nobody
One million repeated mistakes shattered to a billion pieces
The mutual desire for one another no longer exist
I lost myself in your words
But no longer will I pay for your desires
I will consume you in your own lies
Destroy every last lie coming from those once desirable lips
No longer bound by your arms of grace
Redefining the meaning of love
Though spoken words can shatter ones soul
A soul so fragile and delicate one cannot desire anything but love to
No, not you
But me
You're filthy, you're dirty
You shattered me into a million pieces
Some which are yet to be found
No more flowing tears
No more shattered wishes
But only a desperate goodbye and my epiphany of love
