Lover's Galore

by LostLikeTearsInRain   Jul 12, 2007

The stars are shining brightly
The car radio plays our song
You are laying down next to me
So how can I go wrong?

We lay on the car hood
With fingers intertwined
Eyes dancing about
Our hearts perfectly aligned

Your stare gives me butterflies
Your smile gives me the chills
I watch as the dream of you and I
Slowly but surely fulfills

My heart is beating rapidly
You lay your hand against my chest
I'll never be able to say how much I love you
But I can certainly try my best

Your silence screams a thousand words
Your love fills my being
Before you, love was only a fantasy
Now I am definitely believing

Now I am driving you home
You lay your head on my shoulder
The flames of of our love
Suddenly start to smolder

With a farewell kiss
You walk to your door
I stare intently right behind
Filled with a sense of lover's galore
