The wind blows gently
Across the lawn.
I've been dreaming of this
Since the beginning of dawn.

Watching the colors
That the sun creates.
The darkness abounds
As time grows late.

I shiver slightly
As the cold sets in.
You wrap your arms around me.
I'm the warmest I've ever been.

I want to sit like this
And never leave your side.
But time will not allow it.

Sitting in the dark,
Silence all around.
Not a noise to disturb us,
