Don't Forget Me

by Jessica   Jul 17, 2007

Mr. Heaivilin please don't forget me,
We met my sophomore year,
I had a "don't care attitude"most of the year,
As the year went by I had exponential growth,
We knew of my potential,
But its hard to show.
Don't forget me
I joined robotics,
Unsure if I belonged,
I looked at the scrapbook,
And take a look at what I did,
I received my varsity letter,
On team 1764.
Don't forget me
Now I'm a senior,
And choking up with tears,
Knowing goodbyes are difficult,
I would just like to say,
It's teachers like you who allow students to truly believe in themselves thanks for being one of the greatest robotics coaches I have known and when it is time to say goodbye your one of the reasons I kept going in school
