Finally

by Kayla   Jul 17, 2007

My palms sweat and my heart aches,
Longing love, the time it takes.
I've held back in fear of being hurt
Sanity, slips away to the dirt.
It's not easy being vain,
I let go of everything, but cherish the pain.
I want you to see my soul,
The broken heart, the burning hole.
Please don't repeat those slendid words,
I love you always comes in thirds.
I longed for this, but now unsure,
Oh your love, so obscure.
But finally you understand,
My love for you, and where you stand.
As you hold me when I cry,
You realize you are not just a guy.
Whisper softly, kiss me slow,
For this now what do I owe?
Together now, no longer alone,
Finally, our love is shown.
