Summer

The grass is green and
so are the leaves on the trees
The flies are out and
so are the bees

The flowers are blooming
oh so pretty
And theres activities for kids
all over the city

There's volleyball, swimming
riding, and walking
There's cell phones, house phones
and chirp phones for talking

The parents are having trouble
they wish the kids were back in school
Their using air conditioners, central air
and fans to stay cool

Some read books to stay educated
while some might get dummer
But all in all everyone
has fun in the summer
