You said that you only wanted me
and you said that you would wait ur whole life
im not saying I need or want you
and im not sayin I wanna be ur wife

you said you needed someone like me
that I was the perfect girl for you
im not saying that im jelouse
and im not saying its what u do

you said that you'd never hurt me
and you said that you'd be there
im not saying that I hate you
and that I dont care

all Im saying is that I'd like to be your friend
and I'd like to understand you more
but when you brought her in the picture
my heart walked out the door
