IF YOU WERE HERE

IF YOU WERE HERE
I WOULD LOSE MY FEAR
MY FEAR OF LOSING YOU
AS OF NOW, I HAVE NO CLUE
NO CLUE OF HOW YOU FEEL
STAYING THIS WAY MY PAIN WON'T EVER HEAL

IF YOU WERE HERE
I WOULD FINALLY HAVE A FEELING OF JOY AND CHEER
MY DREAMS ARE OF WHAT COULD'VE BECOME OF US
IF WE HAD MORE TIME, LOVE WOULD'VE FORMED FROM OUR LUST
I NOTICE MANY COUPLES TOGETHER
IT MAKES MY WANT FOR YOU EXTEND FURTHER

IF YOU WERE HERE
I WOULDN'T MIND SHEDDING THESE TEARS
WHEN I HAD YOU,I FELT THAT THIS WAS JUST A GAME
AFTER WE PARTED, MY FEELINGS FOR US WEREN'T THE SAME
PEOPLE SAY THESE FEELINGS MAKE ME WEAK
BUT I SAY "YOU WOULD KNOW IF YOU KISSED HER CHEEK"

IF YOU WERE HERE
I WOULD PULL YOU NEAR
AND TELL YOU HOW SLOW LOVE SONGS CATCH MY EAR
REMINDING ME HOW MUCH I NEED YOU HERE
