The first time our eyes met
it was indeed the stage was set
u smiled at me and i knew
that friends like u were very few
months went on and our friendship grew
and by October u could guess
our friendship held a new romance
you held me close when i was scared
i took the love your kind heart bared
as you looked into my eyes
a drop of rain an angel cries
we run for shelter holding hands
then stop, laugh and start to dance
rain pours down in your eyes i look
i can read you like a book
months came and went
by your side my time was spent
you made me laugh all the time
sometimes we laughed so hard we cried
though our friendship was so dear
our romance lasted half a year
your brother i began to date
i was sure your love would turn to hate
but to my surprise
you were always still by my side
to make me laugh and comfort my cry
you can always make me smile
if thats not love i don't know what is
lucky with your friendship i am blessed
