This is so true a simple smile that someone will give you will make you feel happy all throughout the day i love it when people do that, i loved this part of your poem...

It changed her.
That simple smile,
Making the person feel cared for.
Not invisible.
She will try and be confident,
Remembering the simple smile.
No words need to be spoken,
Just smile.
