Love and Hate is One

Even though we argue and give each other nothing but torture
You still happen to be claimed as my blood related father
Whenever I'd talk back, in the end, you'd still treat me as an angel
The times you cause me suffering, I immediately thought about suicidal
Most of all this agony is because of your incorrect misunderstandings
You don't allow your daughter to have the taste of the surroundings
I appreciate what you're doing, trying to lead me to a perfect future
But all this pressure is not required because I happen to be well mature
When I do excellent in school, you'd still lock me within my own home,
While others get to have a blast and their sister bolted up in her tomb
When there's a time I'm set aside from school work and take a break,
You'd find work at home for me before I realize I have plans to make
Another thing is that I know you went through the same thing before
But believe it or not, here's America with money and over there's poor
You have to understand that I've been raised here ever since I was born
So you can't treat me like how your parents did or else, we'd be torn
Our bond as a family just gets weaker and weaker as time moves along
Then the days would turn gray and birds would stop singing a song
The love we're to give and receive is something a family's to pose to do
Especially through all the mess we've caused between me and you
One day, I'd love to have us link instead of disputing against each other
Because you're the one who created me as your first oldest daughter
