Down by the Lake

I'm down at the park
He's nowhere in sight
Not to be found,
Is he even in town?

Where is he?
I'm waiting
Waiting in the park,
Down by the lake,
In my swimming suit,

We were going in,
For a dip,
Or two

I was in park,
When you never showed
Later on,
Found out you died,
Hours before

I went back,
To the park,
Then the lake

I went in,
And laid back
I let the current,
Take me down
