Haunting Me, Yet We Both Live

by TheLoveMeGirl   Jul 28, 2007

Everyday memories haunt me
Everyday your smile is remembered
Everyday your touch is cherished
Everyday your laugh is thought of
Everyday who you are is questioned,
Not the bad, but how you came to be so good
Everyday I think of you in the most loving of ways
But our love was so long ago,
Do you even remember what it was like?
How we were together?
What we had?
Do you remember my smile?
Do you remember my touch?
Do you think of my laugh?
Do you question not the bad in me, but how I came to
be so good?
Do you think of me anymore, my love?
For I think of you everyday, your presence haunts my
heart
And in these terms I think of you,
But I wonder, do you ever think of me?
Do you ever think of me in such terms?
I love you, forever and always
I shall never forget you, being my first love
But I wasnt your first love, so will you always remember me?
This idea of being forgotten by you tortures me more
than most weapons could ever even try
