Nothing like last summer (the real author)

by Joseph   Aug 1, 2007

There is nothing like last summer
The breath of warm water
The site of sunflower
The butterflies and bees
Running in circles
The gentle motion of the ocean
Transporting its heat

There is nothing like last summer
When we laid beneath the palm tree
Mocking its dry leafs
Your smile was brighter
Your eyes were lighter
The sun glazed perfectly over your skin
Your voice gave meaning to life

There is nothing like last summer
A summer to remember
the winds were calmer
the air was freasher
I remember the coffee shop near the book store.
We would sit and linger
Caressing each other.
O your perfume
O your sweet perfume beneath my tender breath
