Southern Star

by Bob   Aug 3, 2007

Everyday that I do wake, I rise and shine,
That first breath I take.
I count my blessings for life so good.
I thank my maker as I should.
Twinkle, twinkle that star that's bright.
I know for me that star is right.
Southern Star, you guide my way.
Because of you, it's another good day.
Twinkle, twinkle, my star of delight.
I feel you with me every night.
Southern Star, you are so fine.
I pray above that you will be mine,
EVERLASTING.
