The Unclaimed Chance

by Viola   Aug 3, 2007

She:

Looks across the room
And her eyes meet his
In a crowd at a party
"I don't even know who he is."
"Oh but look at him,
The way he smiles
Making me feel weak.
And his eyes. Oh his eyes,
The way they shine.
I could get lost in them."

He:

Has been starring at her all night.
As he looks across the room
He smiles and thinks
"I don't even know who she is."
"But just look at that girl.
How beautiful.
She walks with such grace.
Look at her now smiling,
Her gorgeous blue eyes just sparkle.
I could get lost in them."

She:

"Him in that stunning blue suit.
Oh how handsome.
He has such a presence in the room.
His hair looks nice,
And he's just the right height.
Oh he's perfect.
Too bad it will never work."

He:

"I can't take my eyes off her.
She looks amazing in that red dress.
And the way her curly hair,
Just drapes over her shoulders.
So gorgeous.
Takes my breath away.
She's perfect.
Too bad it will never work."

And so the night ends
Both just walking away
Not willing to take a chance
Take a chance on Love.
