Where i am Found

What i am looking for
is so hard to find.
Its what every one eventually resigns too
yet i just cant help but be selfish and want it right now.

To most guys my age it would just seem crazy
to want the things i am thinkin.
Yet in my mind i need them in my life fast,
like faster then me blinkin.

I want to wake and smile in the eyes of an angel,
Go to and from work and still be able
to play with the little ones until the sun goes down.
Put them to bed and smile ear to ear,
walk in to my room and see it so clear,
that this is where i want to be found.

Early mornings with baby in my bed,
sprawled out and tilting her head,
not caring about anything but getting attention.

Taking the dog out and joggin the street,
him nodding at all the dogs that we meet,
then us taking a break and him giving me that doggie affection.

I know its crazy to rush things like this.
but i feel that theres something that i dont wanna miss.

To be able to talk to all my friends,
and say "this is where life beings"
and know in my heart that its the truth.
Loving life just the way it is,
and going to bed everynight with her kiss,
please... let me get there soon.
