For Sonja (Part 45)

by ntv650   Apr 27, 2004

I would be your shadow, if only it wasn't so cold,
Even through the passage of time, I'll be watching over you.
I would forever hold you in my embrace, only to be blown away by the light.
But shadows cannot dream, and all I do is dream of you,
I would follow you everywhere but be overrrun by the darkness of the night.
Flickering in and out your life,
I would be your shadow, pushing you along the narrow corridor of life.
All I ask from you in return is too look.
Because deep in the eyes of your shadow, someones staring back at you.

Gee, thats nice of you pinkstar...I don't mean this poem to make me sound like a stalker (which would be very difficult, since this girl lives 552 miles away). It's supposed to let her know that no matter what, she'll have a shoulder to cry on!
