My encounter with The Snake Of Reason

by Barbi Taylor   Aug 6, 2007

He touched me;
My body shook
And i turned my head
To catch his look
We spoke of nonsense
And childish dreams
Our love was expressed
With Crys and screams
Deep in the abyss
He leaned in for a kiss
But before the embrace
The snake of reason
Approached us two
And he said to us
"What must i do?"
"What must i say?"
"Your childish thoughts,
have lead you astray!!"
He grabbed my hand
And attempted escape
But the snake,
He followed, the snake
He stalked
He insisted we talk
I fell to the ground
And hid myself
without a sound
But my love-
My life
He started to feel the strife
That the snake incurred
He screamed aloud
Without a word
And without a sound
I went blind
And couldn't see
But i felt something
Shaking me
I woke to a brite light
And all i had were
Memories of last night!
