Deep Heavy & Lonely

by Sarah   Aug 15, 2007

Each breath i count,
Feeling your chest rise and fall
I am the butterfly on your shoulder that you do
see at all.
I am the breeze in your ear that you do not
notice,
You do not account for how much i am there.
You do not understand i am in the air you
breath.
Perhaps you do not care,
Maybe not quite the way you say?
I love you but i will not admit it,
For i have meone to teach me how to lie
How to hide,
To break hearts,
To become cold and unlike myself.
So then each day i rise and fall like your breath,
deep
heavy
and
lonely.
