So Old Yet So New

by Calla Spalding   Aug 19, 2007

That night,
Those eyes,
Shining brightly,
Showing laughter and love;
A memory I'll never forget.

When you held me in your arms,
And I did the same,
(Never wishing to let go,)
The most wonderful feeling rushed into my heart,
Making me fall deeper into your love.

the feeling so gentle,
So old,
Yet so new,
Leaving me breathless,
As your soft lips touched mine,
Making me hold on tighter,
In fear I might fall,
(But I already have,
I've fallen deeper in love with you.)

The sensation from the kiss
Brought to me a feeling I longed for,
That old, Yet so new,
Feeling of love when I'm with you.
