I thought I was your shining light
The brightness of you in your life.
You are my highpoint
You always make me smile,
To put it pure and simple,
My precious little pearl.

But now i feel I'm just the moon
casting a sickly light
I can;t always be with you,
As much as i like.
You make my life complete
I thought you felt the same.
For me, it's for real
Not just a game.

Now there's just a shadow over the moon
my being is full of gloom
I don't know what to do or say
