One question

How do you break up with a guy you love?
a question that was never answered
i learned the answer to that question,
when i left him.

a joke ruined us,
a silly prank,
that i thought was real,
that hurt me so bad.

he thought i broke up with him,
i thought the opposite,
ruined was our love,
when he answered my question.

to get back together,
i had just one question,
did he still love me,
or even like me?

his answer hurt,
that he didn't know
i had to end it,
i didn't wanna wait for him.

is it wrong that i wouldn't wait,
was i a fool to love him in the first place,
never again will i ask questions of love,
for what happened here
