Untitled (Again)

by dandy   Aug 30, 2007

They said we wouldn't make it,
they thought it was clear.
All the rumors that were spread,
spoken through the mouth and to the ear.

As if we couldn't hear them,
they had put in their say.
So maybe, if they were lucky,
they would shame us to dismay.

Just like a play of words
the spot light took its stance,
on a single boy and girl
who dared to take a chance.

So far it's going well,
so far we've proved them wrong.
Even with stares and secrets
we've managed to move along.

What started out so simple
ended up in one big mess.
But through it all I must admit,
I wouldn't back track for anything less.
