So many nights you've helped me
you wiped so many tears of mine.
It hasn't went unnoticed I promise
to be OK again, it does take time.

You see, I hate to see you hurt
most of all I hate not being there.
To protect you from the world
but trust me when I say I do care.

I wish I could take away your pain
so you wouldn't have to live with it.
I wish I could take away your fears
every bad memories, all of it..

Because you've done so much
You helped me stay alive everyday.
