Not Meant To Be

A girl and a boy decided to watch a movie.
The girl was so excited for that day.

They met halfway somewhere
and the day seems to be quite fair.

They took the bus on the way to a store,
t'was a little full but they chose to ignore.

The girl mets his gaze
and her heart began to race.

They were such a sweet company
as far as everyone else can see.

The guy may not notice
the smile that's in her face.

She felt so light
as they held hands so tight.

But the thing that pained the girl
is the reality that's all in there.

The boy has somebody else
and never told the girl how he feels.

That's how unfair love sometimes can be.
I so much know their story,
'coz the girl happens to be ME.
