Falling For Her

I had started falling
Hoping she was there
But when I reached out
I grabbed at empty air

I never stopped falling
Hoping she will come
I knew it wouldn't happen
From the truth, I was numb

Part of me knew
Her hurtful choice
But I still fell,
In hope of some rejoice

All this time I would tell
myself, that when I fell
She would reach out, grab my hand
And then at last, I could stand
