The Demon In Me

In the light and in the dark,
you are here inside my heart.
Taring me apart,
inside out.
Mocking me from above,
and in the bottom of my heart.

My feelings you dislike,
and want to tare apart.
You want to take the control,
but I fight back with my whole soul.
I won't give up and I won't give in,
cause you crave blood and you won't win.

I have a demon in my soul,
few people know.
Sometimes it breaks free,
but I am still me.
I try to capture it my friend,
before it hurts anyone again.

Sometimes I succeed,
in keeping it from flee.
But if I don't,
Gods help the unknown.
It will haunt and it will taunt,
until the drowning of the dawn.

I want it to disappear,
but it is still here.
It lingers in my soul,
and while it's there I am whole.
There is nothing I can do,
it have me through and through.

It whispers in my ear,
when to disappear.
It tells me what to do,
when I'm sad and blue.
It want me to let go,
and free it from its hole.

The demon is in me,
I will never be free.
I have to understand,
what i never can.
There is a demon in my soul,
and it won't let me go.
