Tell me.....What's better than us? Is it a smile given by someone you love when they GAZE INTO YOUR EYES
Or could it be the serenity you feel when you think of that person as you contemplate & GAZE INTO THE SKY
Could it be that shoulder you need when times are bad? Or the hand you look for when you need support and seem ALONE?
It could also be the words you feel when you read poetry, the memories that come from a picture. Or emotions from a SONG
What could be better than us? I know its not the materials things I can give. Nor the money...when we met you didn't worry about ANY
And if they say that happiness, love and living life to the fullest is priceless....then guess what we have PLENTY
Is it the joy you feel when you call that person and they are excited to hear your voice. Or better yet when they CATCH YOUR CALL
Of is it the warm rush you get when you know that if things go bad, you have that one person that can and will CATCH YOUR FALL
I don't know too many things that are BETTER THAN US. The few that are listed..ASH we already HAVE THEM
And I know they may have other things that may be out there. So if you are ready and willing.....then lets go and GRAB THEM
So as for as I am concerned. The money will never matter if you are not here. I will always believe in you. THERE'S NOTHING BETTER THAN TRUST
And you know what lady? After thinking of all that's out there....I have come to this one conclusion...BABY.....THERE'S NOTHING BETTER THAN US
