The Truth In I Love You

by Tikka   Apr 30, 2004

Of broken hearts,
and sheltered faith.
Of cold stone and ice.
Of winter paths,
we take in hope.
Losing each other along the way.
Wilting flowers,
bleeding roses,
our mind is set to hate.
See me like I see you,
Trust the words I say.
When I tell you I love you,
don't question its truth.
Know that I would never lie,
know that I don't want to hurt you.
How can we ever be together,
tell me this right now.
Of black skies,
and starry nights.
When I said I love you,
know that it is truth.
