Mild form of madness

by Cathie   Sep 7, 2007

Even though it fills you with gladness
love is nothing but a mild form of madness
it fools you to believe that someone care
when really love goes hand in hand with despair
nothing is more powerful than the feeling of betray
it colors the world of where you sight chooses to lay
and then one day when you destiny is reveled
you find out the size of how much you were deceived
then you are forced against your will
to choose between fighting or standing still
I wrote a poem about the feeling of hate
and how it with fear seems to rule your faith
but even though it was heavenly inspired
this was not the ammo I should have fired
so the poetry was lost for good - it never will be found
it is if it never was - and never will be on this ground
so I focus my mind on love and hope
and hopefully in time I will learn to cope
because right now I am ready to give up
it feels like filling a bottomless cup
I got no choice but to put my faith in the power of time
so in time i will learn how to make love rhyme
I have let hate and anger decide what I see
I will wait forever for love to set me free...
