Your kindness calms my heart
It makes the lions inside retreat
And brings out the calmer, more gentle me
Your good heart disperses all the darkness that surrounds me
And reminds me that life is much brighter than it seems
If I got the chance to spend a day with you
Just one day out of my whole life
My heart would be content for the rest of time
My soul would be free to soar across the skies
Knowing that everything that held me back
Will have been dispersed into the winds
Never to bother me again
And never to give me another dark day
So I hope that one day
One day in the near or distant future
I will be able to from that day on
Bask in the glory of your kindness
