Her other half

by Veronica   Sep 10, 2007

Riding the bus
She sits there everyday
Watching people come and go
Her music filling her ears

In her solitude
She ponders her life
And what is to come next
What is to become of everything

She thinks hard
About what she loves
Her friends, family and life
Then the boy that holds it all together

Without him there
She thinks it impossible
As if a half of her would be vacant
But half a person is not fit for this world

Memories flood back
Good times, fights and misunderstandings
They had them all, yet she had him
And they loved eachother through it all

Riding the bus
She sits there and smiles
Thinking about her perfect life
And how she needs nothing but her other half
