What life could be

Hello there you little thing
What would you say if i would call you
In the middle of the night and say you're beautiful...

What would happen if we'd meet
On no occasion, just like that
A lovely day of early spring, would that be Overwhelming?

And on this day of summer heat
The road we took just seems to beat
As do our hearts when we're alone and disconnected.

But what is it we're tying to keep
A love so great if even possible.

Yet we are so, so far away
I never thought that i would say
This has to stop for both our sakes.

But when i think, and think again
I take it back and just like then
I know it's possible.

When we are free to run once more
Free to knock to hug to kiss

Until we get to do all that
I have to wonder, don't be scared
If everlasting love, just last forever.
