It was the two of us all alone.
Trying to take each day in stride,
We found that little blue eyed blondie,
To the both of them, solely I did abide.

That first night I heard you speak,

I didn't understand why my heart went weak,
I couldn't comprehend much that evening.

I finally took a deep breath and talked to you,
Scared to death of what I would say,

We even talked of deja' vu.

We sat outside a few times at night,
Both looking at the heavens above,
The Big Dipper, Cassiopeia, and The milky Way,
Each time we talked, falling farther in love.
