FAIR WELL

by Hazel   Sep 15, 2007

Don't know the purpose writing to you
Just know soon I'll go and now it's due
This I hope will get into and through
Not sure what to say but think it'll be truth

Just so you'll know I love laughter with you
It's a relief when soul turns blue
Know that it happens often but can't ask you to
Hold the heart of a wandering questioning fool

Must be I who lets you to play
So can never put you to blame
To me I place the heaviest weight
Of all questions and answers we can't say

Again just so you'll know
Such is the rarest dilemma I've known
Have always thought of making a go
But hunches of truth is far too low

No slightest right to demand more
I'm not even a bronze among your gold
Will now head home with few memories
And you to find the best you can keep

Life's too colorful can't see in black and white
Leaving you of my thought's sighs
While we both take easy flights
My heart now surrenders too tired to fight

Lastly my pen must tell you
Why she says Always when writing to you
Feelings make everything immortal and the same
The one thing only in my mind I could claim
