The Last Five Senses

by Bogie   Sep 15, 2007

I heard a bird singing today
out my window, it flew away.
I felt a cool breeze on my face
as it went missing without trace.
I can see deep into the sea
past sunshine full of greenery.
I can taste my salty clear tears
as they turn to bittersweet fears.
I speak with a gentle soft voice
and say it without any choice.
Is there a love we all can share?
Without it being an affair.
