More Than Friends

by Angel in moonlight   Sep 16, 2007

The night I met you was a night I'll never forget.
From the moment I saw you I couldn't take my eyes off of you.
I didn't know that you were also looking at me too.
When you walked over to me my heart started to pound.
Everyone around me just seemed to disappear.
It was like it was just you and me.
Our eyes met and locked.
We couldn't stop looking into each others eyes.
Then you asked me to dance with you, my stomach was filled with butterflies as I put my hand in yours.
We danced the night away, and when it was time to go we both wished we could stay.
Since that night I was anxious to meet you once more,
though it took awhile to see you again you were well worth waiting for.
When I saw you again, you asked me to be your girlfriend.
I was so happy to hear those words, just to know that you wanted to be more than friends.
I hope these feelings will last and be like a circle that never ends.
