Evalae- Aria's Prayer

by samantha   Sep 21, 2007

As I watch, with horrified eyes
Demons take my dear ones lives

I shake and quiver but not a tear falls
Maybe it is for the better, as my death has been stalled

I may be numb, but I know He is the one
Who blankets the light, and spins a tapestry of death

I fear for my very breath
And those of others, who have not yet fallen

Only a matter of time as they hear the angels calling
Anything may be better than this

Horror and sorrow are things no one could miss
But I am trapped here, bound by His spell

What awaits me? Not even I can tell
Perhaps I too should die, plunge into darkness with the rest

Or perhaps I should not, and pray for the best
Oh beautiful, darling Evanon, what has befallen you?

If your heart beats no more
Then neither will mine

Evanon, Evanon, how this dagger does shine
But alas, He comes, and I must do as told

Evanon, Evanon, if only I were bold
Please be all right dearly beloved

For I shudder to think
Of the power He has coveted

Farewell my dear
And think of me always
As Aria your heart
For if you do so, we shall never for forever part
