The Land of Evalae- Part 2

by samantha   Sep 21, 2007

As the sun vanishes, beneath an evil hand
Despair and treachery smothers the land

Love? What did that mean?
Trust? Shattered into pieces then wiped clean

A terrible sound emanates from His mouth,
The dark one, almighty, has finally seeped out

His treacherous, murderous, merciless followers,
Respond to his command as he sets them loose

Wild, fear-crazed screams pierce the night,
Children, are the first, weak, and stunned by fright

As their mutilated bodies fall to the ground,
A demon is born and souls are sent down

Snarls, growls and grating
Oh, their hunger and thirst they are slating

Innocents die, as the angels who were to guard
Are all slaughtered and devoured without further regard

Death is in the air, and evil is inhaled
Making the sane deranged and derailed

Where are the heroes who usually come forth?
What has happened to this sad, sad tale?

That not even the dogs will be saved by a friendly sail
Evalae, Evalae, despair, for you are lost

As the beast called evil has awoken and risen from its lair
And all must pay the cost
