Two Shells

by Insanity   Sep 24, 2007

I am good at hold things in you see
I close myself off so nothing can hurt me
I cover all the pain in a iron shell
so none can see the hurt and take me back to hell
I am a man who has seen death in whole
and all i want from this world is a place to hold
a place were no matter what the day
will always be there no matter what the shame
you see I am beaten weather I show it or not
I have cuts and bruises even a bull rider would scoff
you see I am strong in my own way
and even though the pain never really goes away
I hold it deep inside and use it when i need
to help those who have felt pain like me
but to know that there is another
who has a shell of stone
only makes my shell seam so much more
weather time its self keeps us apart
no this I build a bridge from my shell to your heart....
