Yeah right, love

by Heather Jay   Sep 25, 2007

The stars shining bright across the dark and misty sky,
The smell of fresh water as rain drops begin to fall,
I take your hand and hold it tight, never letting go,
Placing my hand upon you heart, I feel it racing,

A touch of urban and hazel as I look into your eyes,
The world I see, the world I want, the world I need,
A slow, suttle gesture, the warmth of getting closer,
Your lips I feel, the smooth gentle movements of your tongue,
Bodies begin to sway, the nerves of being in love,

Lay me upon the grass, look into my eyes and smile,
Your body upon mine, I feel you pacing, your heart skipping,
Hands exploring, eyes closing, the sky clears, the drops cease,
Eyes open, the nerves disappear, the hearts still racing,

The silent night fading, the sun rising, the birds awaking,
A gentle hug, a soft slow kiss, the warmth of you holding,
Upon your shoulder, my head shall lay, a sudden smile of love,
Three words breaking silence between two, a connection, I love you
