The Reeper

by Little Lupa   Sep 26, 2007

To the darkness I succumb
The dreams they still will come
Clothed all in black
Him and I have a pact

To remind me of the things
Sleep does bring
Death sadness fear
Pain suffering tears

I fight my way
"Never" they say
"Never find your way out"
"I can't stay" I shout

Eyes brimming with tears
Each a unleashed fear
I collapse to the ground
Just hoping to be found

"I just can't" I cry
"Him and I have a tie"
I call out his name
So my soul he can claim

Silently he walks
Quietly he talks
Sympathy shows in his eyes
He sees it when someone dies
