I am writing this for you because you made me believe again.
I used to think that there’s no such thing as a friend.
That your friends were just people you talk to during school to pass time.
That was until I met you.
You said I could trust you with everything.
You told me not to keep everything bottled up inside anymore.
You said you were here to listen to what I have to say.
I didnt believe a word you said,
Because I have heard those words before,
And they came back to stab me in the back,
But you didnt give up on me you kept trying to help me
Until I opened up to you.
I told you things that I swore I would never tell another soul in my lifetime.
I have only known you for about a year now,
And already you have made me realize things
That no other friend of mine could ever make me realize.
I gave up on friendship along time ago,
But you made me remember how fun it was to have a friend.
You taught me how to trust again,
And how to be a friend again.
I finely have someone who means a lot to me again.
