Demonic Frailty

by My Decadent   Oct 2, 2007

I could drown into the deep sea of her eyes,
And enchanted by her sweet voice of sorrow
I could just close my feeble heart of cries
Only to open it again upon the dawn of tomorrow.
...
..
.
For a black heart will only find beauty in darkness
Where the shadows of death may lie;
For under the cold breath of sickness
Only the weak shall die.

For the silent cries of the purest heart
Will only fall upon putrid skin;
For a love so strong can't be torn apart -
You aren't weak if you don't give in.
.
..
...
I could stand here all day mezmerized by thee;
Infatuated by the sheer bliss of your presence,
Hidden beneath thy wings protecting me
As I fade into the void of calming silence.

My love, come! And let us reign upon this land!
If our souls and hearts are sown together
No god, nor devil would ever dare stand
In front of our love - not now, not ever!
...
..
.
For a black heart is said to be evil and cruel,
But oh, how ignorant this is!
For under the coldness of this ashen ghoul
Is but a great desire for your kiss.

For a demon is said to feel nothing at all -
Never love; Never care; Never cry.
For a monster such as I is bound to enthrall
Only the weak which desire to die.
.
..
...
The world can't understand what truly lies within
This demon shedding tears upon a face so pale;
They'll never know that my only true sin
Is loving you so much that it makes me frail...

With love,
Your Decadent.
