The first day I looked at you
There was something holding me back
Something I couldn't free from
Something that I sure lack

I didn't know what my heart wanted
Nor did I know my fate
I didn't know to go to you
Or stay with who I relate

Your eyes looked into mine
As I wondered what to do
Wondering if you and me could ever be
Wondering if you'd be true

One day we started talking
Laughing with each other
Talked about just anything
And smiled at one another

Still my heart was confused
Didn't know what to do
Wanting you
But wanting to stay true

So we talked some more
Talked every day
Became good friends
Loving in some way

But more confusing it got
The more my heart got broken
The more my heart kept falling
The more I had forgotten

It was you and me every day
As my heart couldn't stop crying
Split into two
Didn't know if you were lying

You looked into my eyes one day
Told me that you loved me
All I said was I love you too
Wondering what could be

I still remember that day
When you took my hand
Rubbing it so softly
Wondering if it was just planed

So now my heart stills feels for you
And I couldn't go back to past mistakes
So I ran and it's like I hid from you
Affording many heartbreaks
