One Last Time

Candlelight flickers on her face
As she slowly drifts off into sleep
Falling into a deep deep slumber
She slowly wakes from a deep sleep
her mind is foggy images are not clear
She feels presence near her yet she cannot see anything
Losing her husband less than a year ago she wonders if this is him
Candlelight flames flicker streaming across the walls illuminating a figure
this being was tall and slender with accents of muscles
She gets out of bed to investigate further
Walking up to the figure she sees It is!!
It is him her one true love
Slowly approaching her he begins to caress her face
Slightly startled by this she steps back
He comes closer but not walking she notices, he is floating to her
Excitement builds from her toes to the tiny hairs on her face
It is now she is curious about this being and wants to feel his touch
Encouraging her to come close he puts one hand up to touch her face
She falls into him as if she is mesmerized by his energy
Slow deep kisses begin what could be the most electrifying experience
slowly picking her up he moves her to her bed
Gently laying her down he brings his body above her gently resting on her
She begins to feel herself becoming very excited
He kisses her neck and this sends her into complete ecstasy
questioning why she gets to experience such pleasure with him one last time
Tears stream from her eyes as she wishes
She could feel him as she had felt him before
He was always so strong and muscular
She can see every detail of his handsome face
It makes her smile like before
One last encounter with her true love
A dream come true
They shared one last night of love and remembrance
As she laid there in his arms she tried desperately not to fall asleep
But as she did she heard him whisper
“I will always be yours till the end of time, until we meet again, goodbye my love”
