A year ago

It's hard to believe
that a year ago
you never were mine
now i sit here
turning back the clock
thinking of the time
we first met

i was so afraid
of getting hurt
now I'm not so much afraid
of the pain...
we shared our most
precious secretes with
each other & still haven't
told a soul.

A year ago
i was loud & foolish
now I'm loud about telling
the world "i love you"
and foolish if i ever
let you go....
This past year we've been
though the good, the bad,
and the crazy
i pray that we can make it
though another year...
